Make sure you have an extra mains socket near your TV for your Sky Box. Make sure you have a working phone line within 10 metres of your TV (so that your skybox or router can connect to the internet if necessary).

Ensure that the Sky engineer will have somewhere to park when he arrives. Decide where you want your Sky Dish to be on the outside of your house.
