With Sky, the entertainment and support doesn’t just end with TV. Oh no. On this site, we’re big fans of Sky, so it is with great pleasure that this article will give you an idea of the sorts of things that Sky will offer you in parallel to your TV package. Sky Protect

This is essentially insurance cover, so that if anything happens to your Sky equipment you will be able to get it fixed or replaced without too much of a hassle. This is highly recommended for people with children or animals, or anyone who is accident-prone enough to stumble into the vicinity of the Sky Box with a pint of beer. Sky Protect is the peace of mind that they are selling here – and for a little less than £6 per month it may just be worth it.

Sky Player

Most major channels have either launched an online player or considered it. As a major TV service provider, Sky does of course have one of its very own. As a Sky user you can register for this for no additional cost – and it is well worth it, as it will allow you to enjoy the benefits of Sky through an internet connection when you are out on the go. Sky Songs

Sky Songs is Sky’s answer to i-Tunes. You can stream or download music for very reasonable prices, and again this service is free to all Sky users. It is a must for any music fan, and since Sky is not a personal music-player manufacturer there is no brand bias as far as hardware is concerned.

Sky Mobile

This is more or less like Sky Player – except that it is far cooler! With this, you can watch Sky on your mobile phone, wherever you go.
Well... not wherever you go. You need signal. Obviously.

Sky Games

Hundreds and hundreds of silly, addictive games to lose yourself in whenever you get a spare moment. If you’ve got some time to waste, there are few ways more fun than with this.
And there you have it – incontrovertible proof that Sky is more diverse than most people think. The only other accessory you are going to need that we haven’t mentioned here – and trust us, this is one thing you won’t want to be without later this year – is a good pair of 3D glasses. We are excited (and rightly so!) about Sky’s new 3D service, and if you are a Supertelly subscriber you could soon see a lot more 3D programming coming your way. Watch this space!
