Missing subtitles in Sky TV

You do need to check out whether the programmes carry subtitles. You can do so by pressing sky followed by ‘’i” on the remote and if the letter “S” is displayed then the programme has subtitles.

Sky Box Sound problems

Remote control help

Sky box not responding to Sky remote – Try using the remote to switch your Sky Box on to a standby mode. In case you are using the same connection for your cordless phone and TV, you could unplug the set top box plug and wait for sometime.
Switch off the power supply and check whether all the lights are switched off on the panel of the TV box and restart it again after a few minutes.
You could even check out the placing of your set top box. The set top box should be placed in an open space or shelf or table especially where the sensors are not obscured by door or any other object. The digital telephone base stations and gaming consoles are likely to cause conflict in the smooth operation of the Sky TV boxes.
